On this edition of the Sci-Fi Film School Podcast Matt and Dave discuss the 1995 made for TV movie The Langoliers.

On a red eye flight to Boston from LA 10 people wake up to a shock; all the passengers and crew have vanished. They land the plane only to discover that things haven’t changed, but its like the world is dead. No one is there, the air is still, sound doesn’t echo and the food is tasteless. A sound is heard in the distance coming closer and turns out to be a race of monstrous beings bent on the passengers’ destruction.

Starring Patricia Wettig, Dean Stockwell, David Morse, Mark Lindsay Chapman, and Bronson Pinchot, this adaptation of a Stephen King story was a made for TV mini-series that aired on ABC in 1995. – More
