In search of the paranormal on ‘Alaska Monsters’

From Alaska Dispatch News

The show follows The Midnight Sons, a ragtag group of bearded misfits with oddly specific monster-hunting specialties who travel around the Alaska Triangle looking for Bigfoot, saberwolf, the otterman and other creatures that generally don’t exist.

Every episode starts with the guys sitting around a barn talking about what kind of monster they are going to go looking for.  So, after they leave the barn, they travel to their “zone” of the Alaska Triangle and meet a local who has had an encounter with the monster. In the first episode a construction manager, Dan, is looking for the Bushman after his entire crew left following a scary encounter.

Mystery as 600 dogs jump from ‘haunted suicide bridge’ leaving at least 50 dead

From The Mirror

Explanations range from the curious canines being over-excited, to ghosts haunting the century-old bridge next to Gothic castle Overtoun House. Some locals in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland, even claim it could be the spirit of the ‘White Lady of Overtoun’ who has been sighted there for over 100 years.

The area’s MSP Jackie Baillie said: “I have heard many heartbreaking stories about dog owners who have lost their pets due to this unexplained phenomenon.” Another, more scientific, theory suggests minks below are responsible for attracting dogs with their powerful musk scent.

Ghosthunters claim to have caught evidence on camera of a ghostly child in one of Britain’s most haunted buildings

From Mail Online

Paranormal investigators caught the inexplicable apparition on camera while filming at Stanley Palace, in Chester for the new series True Ghost Stories, which launches this September.   It appears to show specks of dust flying around at random and then a larger anomaly appears near the leg of one of the team and floats eerily across the room.

And another portion of footage appears to capture a ghostly echo of children’s voices whispering to each other.  The team revisited the area within Stanley Palace after they held a successful guided tour there last June and caught the ghostly figures of three children on the staircase.
