Weird World Weekly #53 – The Real Story Behind the Exorcist

Play

In 1973 a movie was released called The Exorcist, which was a film adaptation of a novel titled the same from 2 years earlier.  What few people know though, is that the story is real, based on multiple incidents that occurred in 1949 to a child who is known only by the letter “R.”

On this episode of Weird World Weekly Matt and Dave will explore the real life events behind the fictitious story of “The Exorcist.”  When you’re done listening to this episode, head over to the Podcast of Terror page and subscribe to their podcast so you won’t miss Matt and Corey talk about the film in our upcoming crossover event.
