Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets – first trailer

The first trailer for Luc Besson’s Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets has been released.

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets is based on a French 1967-2010 sci-fi comic book series, which was written by Pierre Christin and illustrated by Jean-Claude Mézières — who helped develop the look of Besson’s Fifth Element.

What makes the trailer below even better is that fact that it uses The Beatles’ famous 1969 song “Because.”

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets will be in theaters on July 21st, 2017.
